Samsung has launched a new generation of 9 Series notebooks with aluminum chassis, multi-touch trackpad and keyboard backlighting.
Compared with the first generation that is an upgrade on the thickness, only 0.58 inches for 15 inch or 13 inch version of this notebook. To lose weight, you just have to carry 3.5 pounds with you in your backpack.
Within this new notebook, you will have a choice between two processors, Intel i3 or i5 and you will be able to place up to 8GB of RAM. As for the hard drive, it is replaced with a choice between two SSD; 128 or 256GB to maximize the performance of the boot and application.
For the screen, it is 1600 × 900 resolution screen with Samsung's new SuperBright that should 180% brighter than the first generation.
Finally, the laptop is already available in the past month in February 2012 with prices for 13 inch and 15 inch respectively around 1399 and $ 1499 USD.
