I bought this to make good use of my graphics cards. The dirt cheap price and impressive specs list left me a little suspicious, but I went ahead and bought it anyway assuming I could just return it if things went bad. I won't be returning it.
The screen is absolutely gorgeous and it takes less than a minute to learn how to navigate the menus. I'm a little mad that the price was lowered immediately after I bought it but I don't care because it was still a great deal at my price. It's paper thin, bright, has nice contrast, is energy efficient, has exceptionally low lag (2ms!), and is set up very easily. For this price, you can't get anything better (or even anything close!). Even the power button is awesome. It's not a button at all. It's just a touch sensitive part of the monitor. Just turning the thing on is a pleasant experience.
Pros:
-Full HD with bright screen and high contrast
-Touch sensitive buttons with easy and useful menu
-Very thin
-Surprisingly energy efficient
-Priced WAY below comparable competition (this is what makes it so wonderful really)
Cons:
-Only comes with VGA cables and an HDMI to DVI cable. That was good for me since my 9800 GTX's use DVI but this really should come bundled with a regular HDMI cable considering it only has a VGA and HDMI port (It has no DVI port, yet it comes with a cable for DVI and not HDMI. I think that's pretty dumb). This is the ONLY problem I have
-um... the back of it is white and I didn't realize that. I guess that's a con, but it doesn't bother me.
There are only 2 POSSIBLE improvements that this monitor could use. By possible I literally mean there are no other ways in which high-end monitors compete with this one. These are: a higher refresh rate (frame rate) and higher max resolution. 60Hz and 1080p is beyond enough for most people and a monitor with higher specs in those categories and equal specs in every other way would cost around $400, and the only people who would ever use a higher refresh rate or resolution are hardcore gamers and tech enthusiasts because video games are the only thing that exist above 1080p and 60 frames per second. Most HD videos never come close to that framerate yet alone any higher. This monitor literally has everything person could need and it's so wonderfully cheap. Not buying this would be a mistake.

I'm impressed. This monitor seems to be a very good value. And you can't beat Amazon packaging, shipping (free is good!), and willingness to deal with issues.
Pros:
Darn thing actually does come with cables! Blew me away. There is a VGA cable, and an HDMI to DVI cable.
Nice big screen. Very nice size for most applications.
HDMI input. I'm a big fan of HDMI.
Stand is sturdy and swivels (up/down ; sideways)-- very clever design.
There is a headphone jack for HDMI sound-out. Nice. It's on the back of the monitor though, not the front or the side.
This thing really is slim.
Cons:
The back of the monitor is white plastic. Might be chic or something, but it's not to my taste. However, at this price who cares.
The stand is great, but you will probably need the instructions to put it together. I needed them, and had to put on my glasses -- that print is tiny!
No DVI input. Just HDMI and VGA.
This is a nit, but there is 2" to 3" facing at the bottom of the screen that makes the over-all form factor that much bigger (taller) than most other flat-screen monitors.
Other:
The transformer for this monitor is in the power cord -- it's one of those two-piece jobbies like you find for notebook computers. The transformer is not very big, however so this isnt' much of an issue, if any. And it means the plug is standard, not a wall-wart.
Bottom line -- a good deal for a monitor this size. Very good deal for a monitor this size with HDMI input. Sweet.
