I've had it for few weeks.. use this with my laptop to see the computer keys and reference materials better. It plugs into USB and the cord is a decent length. It also has a power button. I clip it onto my screen sometimes, but also sometimes I clip it onto my desk so that I can light up my notebook(paper notebook) while typing or referencing books etc. The feel is nice, the light is good... what more cna you ask for from a simple thing. One more thing the clip seems redundantly strong..its nice to feel something built with quality in mind.
I received a bamboo keyboard and mouse for Christmas, and even though it looks great the keys are difficult to read in low light. I read about this on Amazon and it looked like the solution. When it arrived I was happy to find that the c-clamp was large, padded and easily attached to the keyboard. With a USB port near the keyboard it is great not to depend upon batteries or an outlet. The seven LED lights provide plenty of illumination. All in all, it is an inexpensive solution for those of us who are not touch typist.
